I was talking to Elaine today about our memories of Andy. Here they are..... Andy Joining Cottonmill many years ago and learning the dances always with his own style. One sock down and his shirt permanently half out earning the displeasure of the then foreman who was always Immaculately turned out. Andy catering for numerous Morris dancers at our days of dance with volunteers helping on the day before to cut, chop and stir his many delicious curries. His gentle sense of humour and his love of the odd beer or two. Andy also employed my daughters at Maidenhead Aquatics in summer jobs and they also have fond memories of him there showing them, particularly Abbie, how to care for the fish. Jon spent a happy if tiring time in New Zealand with Andy seeing both islands and many a vineyard on their travels. Andy was a loveable personality and he will be missed by many people..
