Lots of happy memories but especially a wickedly good days trip to Le Toquet in a private plane celebrating Jenny’s 40th. Andy made snacks for us to eat on the journey ( smoked salmon bagels) We swam in the sea and had a huge boozy lunch and then rode a bicycle for 7 people on the sea front definitely worse for wear . I went on my first trip to Chelsea Flower Show with Andy and Margaret. Mostly I remember Andy as a loving family man and doting father . Freya was always the apple of his eye. He was a great cook , loved his Orchids and fuchsias and of course fish . We have had many happy years with the Gabbut family as dear friends and neighbours . He will be very sadly missed.
